A message from a Father.... It is impossible, for many reasons, for me to thank all of you from all over the world who have sent messages of support, caring and love in this most difficult of times. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated beyond my ability to communicate. My son touched so many lives in so many ways that I am honored to be his Father. For those of you fortunate to have known him, or were inspired to have heard him speak of his challenge, you are among the lucky. Shortly, we are going to be creating a new webpage simply called Alex. It will be one where anyone can contribute short humorous, positive stories about dealing with a disability, not just autism, but any challenge. Contributors can be family members, caring professionals, friends, those with a so-called disabilty. Our intent is that these stories will be read by people from all over the world and will be comforted by the humor and love in them. Alex loved to laugh, be teased, and saw humor in situations that I, a mere neuro-typical, did not. He taught me of my inadequate use of the English Language and to see things in new, better, perspectives. I believe that this new webpage will do that for many people for many years to come.
